my new (old) digs
The good people of Coburg treated me really well. I spent the best part of October and a couple of days in November hanging at the library, and now I'm back at tinning street (lot 5, 29 Tinning St Brunswick) just like I said. So now, finally, this shall be where I spend all my time. I'm right near the train station and the tram stop, and probably a bus stop too, itching for a visit. And I'm still keen to score some new art. So please come down and check me and tinning street gallery out, and if you wish, send me some art. To find out more on how to submit check out about me over there to the right, or send me an email art_vend@yahoo.com

Back before I even went away...
Seems I was mistaken. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes I have been wooed back by the promise of easy money! The beaut folk at Tinning St Gallery in Brunswick have kindly offered to put me up for a spell, bracketing some time at the Coburg library as part of the Moreland City Council's MoreArt public art show. art-vend will be residing at Tinning St on an ongoing basis, so check the link over to the right and come down to see some choice art and have a little vend. And take a walk along the Upfield rail line between Fawkner station and Jewell station in October to check out some great public art.

sayonara, adios, ciao, bye
After much thought and deliberation, I have decided to put art-vend in the can for a while. Currently doing a roaring trade at Incinerator Arts Complex in Moonee Ponds, art-vend will move to Box Hill for a couple of months followed by a stint in Werribee before having a well deserved rest. The reasons are many and varied, suffice to say I will miss the regular contributions from the awesome art-vend stable. If you still wish to send in some art I am still accepting submissions, so if you've been thinking about contributing now's the time. In the meantime keep checking the flickr page for regular additions, and this site for all art-vend updates.

art-vend in print
Regular art-vend contributor Larissa MacFarlane has done this awesome lino cut to commemorate art-vend's debut at Footscray Station. This limited edition print will be included in art-vend by it's next stop at Off the Kerb Gallery in Collingwood. That's two good reasons to come check out art-vend; the chance to snag an original print or other fantastic artwork, and to see some awesome art on the walls of Off the Kerb.
